House Intel Plans to Subpoena Phone Records

Even though several news outlets cited sources claiming Donald Trump Jr. spoke with two business associates and not his father in between calls with Emin Agalarov in the days before meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower in June 2016, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee are preparing to subpoena phone records to see for themselves.

Details about the specifics of the subpoena remain unclear, but the order goes to the heart of the committee’s plan to investigate ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
