Former national security advisor Michael Flynn pleaded guilty last December to lying to the FBI and has been cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
In a one-page joint filing Friday, attorneys for both sides told the court Flynn is not yet ready for sentencing, indicating prosecutors likely still are extracting information from him.
The status stands in contrast to the case of George Papadopoulos, a former Trump campaign adviser who also admitted lying to the FBI. He has been cooperating with Mueller, and prosecutors have set a September [7th] sentencing date.
