U.S. Media Publishes More June 9th Meeting "Evidence"

News  |  Oct 17, 2017

On Monday October 9th, CNN published what Scott Balber, an attorney for Russian oligarch Aras Agalarov and his son Emin Agalarov, said were emails showing the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between several Russians and several members of the Trump campaign was not about handing over incriminating evidence against Hillary Clinton but rather repeal of the Magnitsky Act.

At the time, CNN mentioned it also received talking points but did not publish them.

Foreign Policy has now made those talking points public without disclosing their source. Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, who does not speak English, claims the four-page document is an English language translation of a statement she intended to hand to Donald Trump Jr. but never did.
