Trump Claims Given No Thought to Pardoning Associates

Speaking to reporters before leaving for the G7 Friday morning, President Trump claimed he has yet to consider whether he would pardon Paul Manafort or Michael Cohen

‪"I haven't even thought about it," Trump told reporters on the White House South Lawn, referring to Manafort and Cohen. "I haven't thought about any of it. It's certainly far too early to be thinking about that."

He added, "They haven't been convicted of anything. There's nothing to pardon."

Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed another indictment Friday afternoon, charging Manafort and his Ukrainian protégé of obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
