Roger Stone's Link to WikiLeaks Revealed

News  |  Nov 29, 2017

Longtime Trump friend and advisor Roger Stone reportedly told the House Intelligence Committee that New York radio personality and comedian Randy Credico was the intermediary between him and WikiLeaks' Julian Assange during the 2016 campaign.

The committee wants Credico to testify on December 15th, and on Tuesday night, the radio host posted a picture of the subpoena he received:

Credico subpoena

Credico's attorney says his client intends to comply with the committee's request to appear, but Credico says he's not sure he'll provide any information:

In a NY1 interview earlier this week, Credico did not say whether he was Stone's intermediary to Assange.

"You believe that story? Let me just say this. I am not at liberty courtesy of my counsel to talk about Roger Stone or to talk about WikiLeaks or to talk about Julian Assange, because these are both guests that appear on my show," Credico said. "And by talking to you about it, that could give them the tire iron to get me to talk."

"I'm going to have to appear before [the committee]," he said. "I'm not sure I'm going to talk to them."

The Daily Beast:

Credico has known longtime Trump ally Roger Stone –– who is also of interest to investigators –– for more than 15 years, he said. Credico and Stone both appeared on an InfoWars show in September.

Credico said he believes the subpoena impinges on press freedom.

“I believe it’s an infringement on free speech, on the First Amendment,” he told The Daily Beast.

ABC News:

Stone has appeared as a guest on Credico’s radio show, even though their politics don’t always align. He told one New York blog shortly before the 2016 election that they both support legalizing marijuana and “we both dislike Hillary [Clinton]. We’re both fans of Julian Assange.”
