House Intelligence Committee Chair Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) talked about the Mueller investigation, impeachment, and other other issues at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast.
Representative Schiff said he agreed with Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) comment that the House needed what he called “extraordinarily clear and compelling” evidence to pursue impeachment against President Trump.
On the Russia investigation, he said, “There is ample evidence of collusion in plain sight.” Later, he answered questions from reporters on White House security clearances as well as the testimony by the president’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen.
