Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski met with Senate Intelligence Committee staffers for several hours behind closed doors on Wednesday.

The committee has already interviewed Paul Manafort, who succeeded Lewandowski as head of the Trump campaign.
Lewandowski said earlier this year that he did not have any contact with Russian officials and if there was contact made by Manafort or others on the campaign, Trump did not know about it.
Lewandowski was still part of the Trump campaign when Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort met with several Russians at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016, but he was not in the meeting. He is one of two dozen witnesses committee leadership says it plans to interview this month.
