Trump Dossier Firm Says No to Nunes

The lawyer for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the Trump dossier, says his clients will not testify before the House Intelligence Committee even though Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R- CA) issued subpoenas earlier this month.

In a letter to the committee, attorney Josh Levy explains that Rep. Nunes, who was supposed to step aside from the Russia investigation, continues to take action on his own as if he still were in charge and in doing so is jeopardizing the integrity of the House investigation:

"Based on this Committee's bad faith interactions with the undersigned counsel and its pattern of unprofessional conduct exhibited during different points throughout this investigation, you have left us with no choice but to advise our clients to assert their privileges in the face of these subpoenas," Levy wrote.
