Sergey Shoygu has served as Russia’s Minister of Defence since 2012. In February 2017, Shoygu spoke before the State Duma in Moscow and announced Russia had created a new information warfare task force. “Propaganda must be smart, competent and effective," he said, according to TASS news agency.
