Memo Released

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee made the Nunes memo public within minutes of President Trump declassifying it without redactions Friday.

NYT:

The House Intelligence Committee made the memo public after a week of pleading from senior national security officials not to disclose the classified details, reading it aloud on a conference call with reporters after President Trump declassified the memo.

USA Today:

The White House made no changes to the memo, spokesman Raj Shah said, and declassified the document "in full." The president repeated his charges of bias by investigators after signing off on the memo's release.

"I think it’s a disgrace,” Trump told reporters, and people should be “ashamed.”

Democrats on the panel blasted the Republican effort to release the memo, charging that it is riddled with factual errors and was written to cast doubt on Mueller's investigation as it moves closer to the president.
