House Intelligence Committee ranking member Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Representative Mike Conaway (R-TX) held a press conference after meeting with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg Wednesday and said they will share the Russian-bought Facebook ads with the public.
Rep. Schiff has asked Facebook to "help scrub any personally identifiable information" before the committee releases the content. He does not anticipate that happening prior to November 1st, which is when both the Senate and House Intelligence Committees expect representatives from Facebook, Twitter, and Google to testify about how Russian operatives used social media to influence the 2016 election.
