ICYMI: How Hackers Broke Into U.S. Voting Machines in Less Than 2 Hours

For the first time in its 25-year history, Defcon's hacking convention featured a Hacker Voting Village to test how easy it would be to break into election systems. Turns out it can done fairly quickly. 

In light of news that the Department of Homeland Security just notified 21 states they had been targeted by Russian hackers during the 2016 election, it's worth reviewing what information the Las Vegas hacking convention exposed in late July about the vulnerability of our voting machines.
