Trump’s longtime personal attorney scheduled to appear before Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday.
Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal lawyer and former Trump Organization Executive Vice President, is planning to meeting with Senate Intelligence Committee investigators behind closed doors on Tuesday. CNN reports Cohen will not be under oath when he speaks with staffers, but regardless, all witnesses are subject to criminal charges if they lie to Congressional committees.
In May, Cohen refused to answer questions from the House and Senate Intel committees, claiming their invitations were too broad, but he did indicate at the time he would comply if subpoenaed.
