Flynn Launches Defense Fund

President Trump’s former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who was fired for lying about his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, is asking for help paying his legal bills.

On Monday, Flynn tweeted a link to the newly created Michael T. Flynn Legal Defense Fund, a site he says his brother and sister-in-law created for him. It is the first time he’s tweeted since December 2016.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and multiple Congressional committees are investigating Flynn and his son, Michael G. Flynn, for their connections to Russia and the lobbying work they have done on behalf of foreign nationals.
