Cohen Testimony Postponed

President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen was scheduled to meet behind closed doors with Senate Intelligence Committee staffers Tuesday, but just before 11am ET, CNN’s Manu Raju tweeted Cohen’s session was postponed. Raju said the lawyer did not give a reason.

Cohen already had released his planned opening remarks in anticipation of the meeting proceeding as planned. In them, Cohen strongly denies having any connection to Russian interference in the 2016 election. He says the Moscow Trump Tower proposal was just a matter of his doing his job and suggests the Russia investigation is an attempt to “raise false issues about the validity of [Trump]’s victory.”
